I just spent a few days camping and exploring Long Point Park. Long Point is an 85 acre full full service campground that offers shore line campsites, clean facilities and an abundance of wildlife to see for the nature enthusiasts.
We didn’t have ideal weather during this trip. It rained multiple times a day and night, and when it wasn’t raining, it was hot, but this is Florida in the summertime so we expected that. Luckily, we were prepared for it and brought the right gear. I camped in my Coleman Instant Tent which is made with Coleman’s WeatherTec system. This tent stayed dry through both driving wind and rain and the torrential downpours that frequently came.
Another essential piece of equipment that I highly recommend if you are camping in Florida in the summer is the Original AC Boot. Though the temperatures were in the low to mid nineties outside, my tent stayed a comfortable 72 degrees.

Did a little exploring on some of the islands.
And saw a lot of wildlife!!
All in all, it was a great trip despite the weather. If you like to paddle and explore, Long Point is a great place to do this even if it is just a day trip.

Beautiful scenery but omg didn’t know you could get air conditioning for tents, haven’t seen any in Australia
